Our Latest Equipment – CNC Plasma Table
The AKS Tru-Cut CNC plasma cutting system is the latest addition to our equipment at Custom Creek Fabrications. The Tru-Kut CNC plasma table is used for the precision cutting of various materials using a plasma torch. CNC stands for Computer Numerical Control, which means that the machine’s movements and cutting operations are controlled by a computer program.
The Tru-Kut CNC plasma table is specifically designed for plasma cutting, which is a process that uses a high-velocity jet of ionized gas (plasma) to melt and sever through metal. The plasma torch emits an electric arc that passes through a constricted opening, creating the plasma jet. The intense heat of the plasma melts the metal, while a high-velocity gas stream blows away the molten metal. This results in a clean and precise cut.
CNC Plasma Tables
CNC plasma tables like the Tru-Kut allow for highly accurate and automated cutting operations. Also, they can be used in various industries such as manufacturing, metal fabrication, automotive, aerospace, and more. Common applications include cutting metal sheets and plates to create intricate shapes, parts, or components for various purposes.
The CNC control system of the Tru-Kut plasma table enables the operator to program the desired shapes and dimensions into the machine. Also, it will execute the cutting process accordingly. This automation ensures consistent and repeatable cuts, minimizing human error and increasing productivity.
